    Can anyone tell me if the Campag and Shimano 10 speed chains are interchangeable, that is, can a shimano 10 speed chain be used on a campag drivetrain?

    Certainly yes for the shimano to campy.But why? Campy makes a good chain and you can use a connex link with it.

    Thanks for the info. I didn't realize a connex link could be used with the campy chain, that's helpful to know. Campy is more expensive and I can easily find the shimano 10 sp. on ebay.

    I've heard some gripes about fast rear with shimanos.Maybe they have gotten too thin?

    What do you mean by this. Problems with meshing properly with the pulley wheels?

    That should read fast wear not rear.
