    The Connex/Wipperman will work.

  3. Peter,

Is that chain a good choice for use with Campy 10speed?? I'm just in the process of upgrading and I
really like the power link type system.

    Thanks Pete

Wippermann works great with Campy 10, they make both a nickel plated and a stainless chain. The
nickel one is considerably cheaper. The stainless is too expensive for a disposable part (for me).

I use the Campy 10 chain with a Wippermann Connex, and have had no problems. I was curious if I would notice any difference in performance changing to the Wippermann chain?

The Connex 10 link works. The link that comes with the IRD 10 chain works but I don't know if it is
    sold separately.

Other than the fact that the DA 10 chain comes w/o a removable link, it seems to be
    reasonably priced.

There has been some suggestion that the Wip doesn't work well with the 11t cog. I personally have
had two Wip ni chains and have had no problems with them, albeit with 12t and 13t small cogs.
Course, I wipe down my chain after every ride and lube every three or so (Prolink works very well
    with this routine).

Andy M. has convinced me to try the KMC 10v chain and I will report back on my experience with that
one in a month or so.

Is this only regarding 10s Wipperman chains, or 9s too?

I have a 9s Wip nickel plated chain on my new drivetrain, which includes a new 11t cog. I'll report
back if I ever ride the damn thing, and remember to worry about it.

Don't know, just remember following the thread(s) on the Wip - they were specifically talking
    about the 10v.

Perhaps we can get someone who has used the 9v chain w/ and 11t small to comment?

I wonder if that stainless chain is anything like the one sold briefly by Shimano in the mid-80s.
That was a great MTB chain but for one drawback, it only lasted a couple thousand miles before
stretching beyond the point of useability.

We like Campagnolo 10s chains with a Connex link.

I would not use a DA chain with Campagnolo 10s...

Just curious . . . why not? Which is another way of asking: What's the difference between the
    Shimano and Campy 10s chains?
