Homey! I haven't been back in a while - all my family escaped Iowa, but
I can't imagine where in Coralville they would put 6,000 + riders in
their tents and RVs. I remember when RAGBRAI came through in ~1976 (?)
they all fit in City Park down by the lion cages but the ride was much
smaller then (the first time I'd heard of it). I'd also imagine
Coralville residents would be less likely to want campers on their front
lawns than folks in those small farm towns who are generally happy to
have visitors from anywhere.

A couple of purely speculative guesses: Maybe the University dorms, or
maybe a few farmers are going to let people camp in their fields just
outside of town.

What about that park out by the dam?

There's a frisbee golf course out there which would be a nice diversion.
