You could always try your nearest autoparts store. I have an orange
Kona ManoMano at one point in time with a few ugly scars. I managed to
find two colors in Pep Boys that mixed together just right. In your
case, a little black, a little white and just a touch of green should
come up with the perfect cocktail.

Doing just that in the Pines for the annual Jersey Devil Halloween ride
in costume of course (still have to make/buy one).

Wharton State Forest this year. Starts at 10:00 and includes a witching
hour bon-fire (complete with beverage). All sanctioned by the Wharton
State Forest (they love us mountain bikers).

Starts in Bluff Point State Park at dusk. With 3 skill
groups. Small party after at the LBS. Out of 300 riders maybe 25
show up for the party. I've been riding it since 99 and showing up at
the party 02.

I noticed yesterday that I've got paint wear on the frame of my bike from
the grabber thingy on my rack. I supposed I could keep the paint nice by not
riding the bike, but that wouldn't be any fun at all. My thought was, wow
that bike spend a lot of time going to the trailhead.

You should see my Racer-X. Scratches all over and the decal is peeling
off. It's from shipping it everywhere. You are right. They were meant
to be ridden, not tropheys. However, could a scratch expose a steel
frame to rust?

Hey, we finished our 894' trail today, I'm working on the pics right now.

Cool. I'm trying out a piece of new trail tonight. We substitute sand
for climbs 🙂..

Instead of fixing it ,come up with a better story about how it happened.
Mountain bikes and pickup trucks; if they get used as intended,
they're gonna get scratched and dinged.
