maybe, but it was fairly amateurish the way he kept whineing thru the press and then actually being stunned that he was being given the cold shoulder byt the rest of the team once he arrived in Germany. You gotta beef, you talk the team or management. You expect to ride with others its sorted with those others. He may be an awesome rider but he's an amateur IMHO at people-skills

You don't think he spoke to team management or the other riders?
I think the way he was treated by the team selectors sucked. But
I only saw what the news reported and they tend to leave out the
useful information. You didn't see any other riders complaining in
the press because they were _on_ the team..
The selection process sounded dodgy to me - where races at
different times decided who was on the team.. ??

I agree. it 'seemed' like things were a tad pre-determined and they were going to get the exact faces they wanted. it was just a matter of finding the right procedures to get those faces. Eadie posting a time ages after Kersten did his was ridiculous. shoulda done it same day/track/conditions

It's an improvement on the Charlie Walsh days when you had to be Charlie's favourite to get a ride. New regime+ new training+ new ideas = better results:-)

The simple situation being that Kersten would have ridden a faster first lap than Eadie? I think the selectors are the ones who made it messy...
