If you truly believed that a mini pump would go to 120psi you are sorely
mistaken. You would need arms the size of Arnie to get there. Try a Zefal
frame fit pump.

It's the diameter that makes the difference. Most small pumps are designed
for mountain bikes that have low pressure but large volume. These pumps have
a wide diameter piston to move lots of air. Force = Pressure x Area (Or
something like that). If you can find a pump with a small diameter you can
get to the higher pressure, it just might take a bit longer. Avoid the cheap
plastic pumps because the shaft often bends and then you have no chance of
pumping up the tyre. I also avoid double acting ones, as the valve is
complicated and prone to failure if you get a bit of water and/or dirt in
it. I live in the country out of mobile phone range so my equipment must be
"mission critical".

Thanks, Marty. The pump mentioned has a small diameter. Perhaps I just need
to eat more weet bix. 🙂
