fit's always the issue with any baggies.
I buy jerseys on sale all the time. Haven't heard of any quality issues,
usually house branded stuff is pretty decent. I found that the name branded
stuff, at least Fox is banking on the logo and quality. Seems like the
jerseys snag really severely. Not so good when you are around bark, twigs
and velcro

I've been satisfied with Performance's lycras, and I still wear them with
baggy shorts over them (mostly so I don't have to look at myself in
lycra). That may translate into good baggies as well. Isn't there a
Performance shop closer to you than the one up here in Portland?

I have no clue where the nearest Performance shop is to Eugene (actually Cottage Grove now, but...). I have a small world of shops (two) I travel in/trust typically. They have the "typical" offerings at the typical prices (even with the "regulars" discount the name brands are >$60) and the couple I tried on are obviously made for those that don't hit the weight room or tap a keg very often.

I've been doing the lycra "tighties" under baggy shorts since I started wearing cycling shorts and figured I might *finally* step into the new millennium. Thanks. I'll figure out where the nearest performance place is. Ride well.

I have 2 pairs of both the Fox High Frequency and Pearl Izumi Canyon
baggies and they don't see much action. The fit of the baggies just
doesn't compare to lycra. It isn't the baggy part that is the problem,
but the liners are just too loose fitting. I prefer normal shorts over
lycra like you are doing now. All of my lycra shorts and most of my
jerseys are from Performance or Nashbar. The name brand stuff is
sometimes more eye catching, but the difference in quality isn't nearly
as big as the difference in price.

Oh, I'd just be looking at how good the cloth looked, not trying them on.
I don't know ireman well enough to be comfortable with the thought that
