East Finchley, late for work as usual on Mondays (but I have the excuse that I worked about 8 hours between Sat and Sun). I stop for an espresso, I'm locking the bike, a teenager on one of those £90 "full suspension" MTBs crosses the road at the traffic light, rides on the pavement (without hands), misses a lady+pram by about 10 cm, she shouts, he gives her the finger, she has a go at me because I have a bike, more or less.
I was seriously tempted to chase the idiot, but I was also rather tempted to be rude to the lady. I DON't rail at other motorists when one of them puts my life or safety at risk, can't see why it should be different with cyclists
