  1. Hi -

I bought an 8-speed cassette from a guy (on eBay) who believes it was manufactured be Boone Technologies. It came with 6 spacers. 3 have teeth on the inside edge to match up with the grooves in the hub. The other three are just rings, and the 7th spacer is part of the 11-tooth cog. The outside diameter of the spacers is too big to allow the chain to fully drop down into the "vallies" of the 12-tooth (7th) cog. So it skips. It's not a problem on the 11-tooth (8th) cog, because the spacer part of that cog has a smaller outside diameter. Can I buy a spacer with a smaller outside diameter to go between my 11 and 12 tooth cogs?

    Thanks,
    GW
