Folks, iCycles site has some dirt cheap prices on Rockshox disc brakes (sealed hydraulics, cable actuated). I know nothing about them, and was wondering if anybody has any firsthand experience with them? I was on the hunt for some Avid mechanicals, but didn't want to ignore anything that was, *ahem*, cost effective.
Are they total junk? At a price less than many V-brakes, do they provide comparable braking power? Aside from needing an adaptor to fit most hubs, any other compatibility issues?

Thanks Gary
They are junk, for retro-freaks only. Used to be made by Amp research but then the design was bought by rockshox. Bear in mind this was 6 or 7 years ago, and they sucked then. Stick to the avid mechanicals.
