cheaper than a Polar.

( found them from ebay )

turned out after post and exchange rate about $45 each

And the Echo also tells you avg and max cadence too. It's just a [censored]
to install compared to some other computers.

Buying a Polar is a VERY expensive way to get
cadence. I'm sure I've seen 'normal' computers
do it for the $70-80 mark.

Pursuit-Performance, the only authorized Polar
service centre in Australia AFAIK have a popup
message on their website making it very clear...

I just checked and it didn't popup for me so...

I went for the Cateye Astrale. It has cadence, but doesn't calculate averages or max. I have the wired version, which looks uglier but makes batteries last longer. The current model costs $90 from cecilwalker.com.au

Thanks for all the feedback, especially the info on waranty.

I still havent made my decision yet, my preference for a polar unit is an interest in not only cadence, but also heart rate.
