  1. Does the fight or flight syndrome simply evacuate the bladder more
    thoroughly or does the body continue to draw additional fluid into the
    bladder that we have the urge to void for the umpteenth time before
    the start of a race?

    Huh? It sounds like maybe you are getting a lot more nervous than people I
    have seen and known . Maybe more particulars about your race experience
    would help understand where you are coming from. I am not aware of any
    increased flow in to the bladder due to adrenal response. You possibly are
    also consuming diuretics that are causing that on top of your adrenal
    response. Do you take extra coffee or tea (or No-Doz!) before racing?

    Remember when mom said "you better go now while you have a chance," a few
    million years of evolving combative mammals has the same message. The
    opportunity to spew pheromones is also a probable factor.
