  1. Hey all!

    Just a quick question from a newbie. I have checked around the website to figure it out, but haven't found anything.

    Could anyone just quickly describe what we are referring to when we say a 'crit'? I understand it's a race of some sort, but what are the characteristics?

    Also, anyone familiar with an area within this website or a different website with a dictionary of some sort of cycling terms. I don't have any people to cycle with back home so I can't learn just through interaction.

  2. I knew it would happen. My question was somewhat out of the blue without doing much research. **Looks down in shame**

    I did now though.

    Might be useful for other new riders though.

  3. So, you now know that it's short for "criterium"? 🙂

    It's one of those races that does many laps of a short street circuit

    yes! yes I do. Actually, I was aware that it was short form. I just didn't know what the kind of race it was.
