  1. As a throwawy line in an article today (about OLN having a camera, but
not having their own live feed and not getting LA on camera at the end
of the final stage), it was mentioned that OLN had its three highest
ratings ever in stages of the Tour this year, with the last stage
their highest ratings ever, period, for any event.

Guess it at least doesn't discourage more coverage in the future.

It should encourage more coverage. Especially when you consider that these
ratings come on top of last years record high ratings. I'm hoping they will
give the other tours more coverage than they are giving them now. A live
feed in the morning and then a couple of hours in the evening would be
ideal. No need for fluff programming as a time filler.

Sounds like they'll probably take that as a big Yes for Al to stay.

  4. I sent them email with a THANK YOU for their terrific coverage. 99%
    of the coverage was outstanding.

We hear so MUCH about that other 1%, don't we?

Send them another email complaining about pulling the Vuelta coverage. The
moderator on their forum said they will have ONE 1-hour highlight show... no
    daily coverage.
