Has anyone tried these tires? CC has them on sale and I am looking for a
solid tire for the rear. I am looking at Specialized 700*25 Mondo Pros, but
these look like they would also be great at holding up my rear wheel for
lots of training miles and low key races.

400 miles. I hit something that ripped open the side wall and put a
cosmetic gouge in my wheels braking surface. Whatever I hit would have
damaged any performance tire.
I like them, but I am no racer, so I can't speak to their ultimate
performance. The ride is good and they haven't been slippery. Right
now on the back and before the Attack/Force I was running the original
tires which are IRC Redstorm Classics. The Contis were a definite
improvement over the IRCs.
Check out Bike Tires Direct, they have them for $79.95 and for $5
offer a two month road hazard warranty. Take a look -
