  1. While Riding last Friday I noticed nothing in my right interior calf. then when driving home, I just barely rubbed it, and it is now - 5 days later- Black and Blue from about 1 inch below and behind my inside right ankle all the way up the inside of my calf to about 4 inches below my knee. It is almost impossible to rub without wincing in pain, and it causes me to limp to take the next step due to tightness in the calf.

The only thing I can think of is that I tore my calf muscle some how or idid something to a tendon ...maybe my position on the pedal, or seat is wrong...not sure.

Has anybody had a similar mishap? Do you just go to your regular Doc to have it looked at, or maybe a sports biomechanic facility. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did the same thing to my hamstring a few years ago, it was black and blue from my knee all the way up to my butt. I went to the physio a few times but mostly the only thing that helps is time and rest.
