Anyone doing the Muddy Buddy (or have done it in the past)? I just signed up for the Colorado version - August 22nd in Boulder. This will be my first-ever race, let alone multi-sport! I'd love to hear from people who have done this or races like it... 🙂

I did it last year in Atlanta. For whatever reason they're not going to hold an event in Atlanta this year - [censored].
Anywho, it's muddy and fun. I wish it was more team oriented. You don't really see your teammate until you make it to the mud pit at the end. Adventure sprint races are _much_ more fun because you get to work as a team the entire time. Things will probably be different in the CO mountains, but in Atlanta the field was mostly runners with very limited bike skills. I'm not much of a runner (bad knee!) so I enjoyed making up time riding the bike.
