I am always amazed at the weight saving extremes one will go to then throw away the gains. Save a couple grains by using Titanium screws for attaching water bottle cages, chain rings etc. Risk injury by using extremely light front end components where a failure will likely result in catastrophic accidents then wear a 1/4 pound of gold on your neck which flaps you in the face when working hard.

What happened to commonsense?

I do think bicycle parts makers are out of control. I mean, stems breaking in the TdF in normal use? All this to save an ounce or two.
