Universe 2

I think It's great. The riding is top notch, and the editing is
wonderful. The music works well with the riding as well.

Everyone who has seen it will (or at least should) tell you it's
absolutely brilliant. YOU MUST BUY IT NOW! My favourite bits are all
of Kris Holm's muni and trials bits. Followed by Daike's freestyle
section...but it's all absolutely amazing.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Universe 2 is "brilliant" but Max is
right, the riding is top notch. Without a doubt, a good buy for any uni
enthusiast

i would have to say the best part in that video is Dan Doerksens part

I ordered it directly from Dan. I just emailed him at the address found
on the Syko page. Because I ordered 2, he didn't charge shipping even
though I live in Hawaii. Just email him, or IM him. His SN is

I think it's fantastic. I haven't seen universe 1, but all that matters
is it's worth every penny. Get it right now.

My favorite section is with Dan Doerkson (sp?). Daike's freestyle
section simply cannot be beat. It also has some footage of Sem Abrams
(of Semcycle) and David Poznanter (I think he designed a hub of sorts.
Someone surely knows more on the matter), which is nice.

After you see U2, you don't care about U1 anymore... it blows it away.
Dan Heaton opened my eyes to a whole new level of unicycling
awesomeness, and every second of it was just great to watch. it's the
greatest extreme sports video i've ever seen... and i'm comparing it to
numerous surf flicks (including the endless summers) and MSP's ski movie
trilogy. buy it asap.

us NZUNI boys (the new zealand guys) are making a 'extreme' unicycling
vid with the talent we have here. although it wont be anywhere near the
standard of skill in universe 2, it should be a good release. we are
supposed to have started filming now, but we've kinda been delayed with
stuff. its going 2 b called 'uninhibited' and im currently making the
covers for it...and i would have posted an image in here, but they are
all at my other computer...so keep watchin, and ill post em soon

I've just finished making my movie. There's about 60 minutes almost of
edited footage in there, but the editing's really rough and it's done
more for my own memories than anything else. I'm going to make it
available for download when I get around to it.

i would sya my favourite part in U2 is dan heatons. he is a friggin nut.
hes mixing street and freestyle and gets crazy moves. like who rides
backwards down like two 25 sets in a row, and like backward riding
wheelgrabs off picnic tables. hes throwing out nuts stuff these days.
and as for U3, i know Dan is out there right now filming for a new
video. still not sure if its gonna be called U3 or not. probably. but in
like 11 days, i'll be filming with him for a week for my part. and dont
forget about jeff groves video "spaced out". its gonna be available
through darren bedford and syko productions i believe. i think the video
is all done and it should be out by the end of august. ive seen some
parts and it kicks ass! the music isnt as hardcore as in the universe
movies, and the editing for the parts ive seen is awesome. i love jeff
groves style for movies. anyway, make sure to get that. ive seen my part
and it is pretty good. huge one footers down sets. so get it when it
comes out!

I got mine from Syko Productions. It seemed to work just fine. No
problem getting it at all.
I think my favorite part of the film is the bonus feature on the DVD
(was it an easter egg?) with the deleted scenes of the cool riding where
the music is very quiet and you get a chance to hear the creaking of the
cranks and the sound of the wheel hitting pavement and going through the
underbrush, etc. It's a zen moment for me.

I also liked the music from this one better than from Universe 1. A
little more variety (even if it was still too hardcore for me).

Im sure that we'll be in touch a.s.a.p if we need that footage, thanks
for the offer andrew 🙂 so far, the plan is to try and feature most of
new zealands riders, to try develop some exposure for the sport, being
that its still really new here. there will probably be some main focus
on the skilled riders, in the same vain as universe i think, with me,
pete marchant, tony, ken, peter b and ben sarten. i am actually in
wellington at the moment, so quite a few hours away from tony, but we
did do a road trip up to see him last weekend, which was awesome. we
also hope to make a few parodies, one of 'rough terrain unicycling' by
george peck, and maybe of 'unizaba' in which we will find some similar
terrain and re-work the narrations...if we are allowed. should be a good
release, im currently designing the covers, and i'll post them up here
once i get back to my computer.

rocks, my friend dan bellamy ordered it from dan, and i watch it, it was
30 cuz were canadian, and i like the song liar by much the same and all

I don't mean to be rude, but I thought this post brought up an
interesting point.

This post contains 11 commas, 5 contraction (none of which using an
apostrophe), about 17 proper nouns (with no capitalization whatsoever),
five topics, and not a single period.

If what we have to say is worth saying, then it's worth saying
coherantly. I'm not asking for perfection, but I think it would make the
forums more pleasent if some people made a little more effort to make
their posts both readable, and worth reading.
