Sunday: FLat Creek, one lap with the wife, another on the (FUSSY-compliant) Karate Monkey. Even
though I spend much of the second lap banging my head on my stem, life is good. Stockholm sydrome
works that way sometimes.
Monday, off. Hike Turkey Creek with the dogs. Bella bites Diego on the ass really hard and he body
checks her into the creek.
Tuesday, dawn patrol road ride, evening City Park clinic. Two rides, one day and I'm all cross
disciplinary. Kewl.
Wednesday. Back out to Flat Creek in the Afternoon. More lappage. Post ride brews. Unsettles
atmosphere over central Texas make for ominous clouds and wickedly beautiful late afternoon light.
Thursday. The Karate Monkey returns for a pleasant evening ride with the wife and some Mojos. There
are a few new singlespeed converts, and flowers.
Provided all goes according to plan, today I put new fork on new bike and head back out to Flat
Creek. Tomorrow is the single speed race, then a night ride.
