They don't follow it. No one else prepares solely for the Tour de
France, year in year out.

No one else has as strong a team.

Note how last year, all that good stuff almost wasn't enough.

If it were any other rider, winning the Midi Libre and the Dauphine Libere
would be the highlight of their season. For Lance, it is considered preparation
for the tour. This shows how good he is.

Ji, have you ever tried to stay on a low cal diet? Lance weighs EVERY bite
he eats. He calculates every single calorie. Even when he thinks that he is
"letting go" by having a beer he has counted the calories and what he needs
to do to maintain his condition.

In "Road to Paris" Bryneel himself shakes his head up at the snow line and
says, "That's what it takes to win the Tour."

Armstrong is the most dedicated cyclist of his time. Eddy was the last one
to be so dedicated. Hinault did all of his winning on raw talent alone.
