saddle sores?

The best question yet was Tuesday night - with Al Trouthead, "Sheryl,
after the cameras are off and crowds are gone, and it is just you and
Lance, and maybe someone else in the hotel room what is it like?

Al, just who exactly is that someone else you were referred to? I am
sure he will top that question latter in the tour.

My wife and I were pleased with yesterday's Sheryl Crow interview, where she
stated that she and Lance drink Peet's coffee in the morning, not just
plain old "coffee". When we moved from San Francisco five years ago, we left
Peet's behind, and missed it until we found that we could have it shipped by
UPS. So that's what we do, every few weeks, the UPS delivery man brings a
couple pounds of Peet's coffee, along with a dog biscuit for our dog. Our
dog loves the UPS man.

Yeah great. How many other celebrities do we need along the Tour? I have
never seen such an enourage of non-cyclist coming along to "hang" with a
cyclist. Can any historians come up with another rider that brought so many
non-team personel with him? Lemond use to catch hell if his wife followed
the race with the expectation of catching a few meals with him. Tyler had to
get Riis' blessing last year to have his wife and dog along last year after
the bone breaking fall... Considering how things have loosened up a bit I
still can't think of anyone that has ever done anything close to this and it
has been going on almost from the start (I think Robin Williams has been
tagging along since 2000).

I can't wait for Bruyneel to continue building his dynasty so that we will
see who the real genius is behind the team. I wonder if he will stay with US
based teams or just find the next Armstrong whereever he is anb start
building around him?

If you're going to get it shipped, why not get something like Illy?

I can't stand any of the stuff though...tastes like dirt.
