  1. I have seen a good price on a bike I have been after for a while now at Pushy Galore at Umina Beach
in NSW. As I live in Newcastle and the saving is quite considerable (over $150!! on a bike that
retails at $699) it is worth my while to drive down and pick it up. Has anyone had any experiences
with this shop they would like to share? I have never dealt with them before so "forearmed is
forewarned" as they say. It is a shame that none of my local bike shops will even consider dropping
their price on the bike (they will not even drop to even close) as I would prefer to buy local but
$150 is a fair amount of money.

    Cheers,

    Dave.

  2. what sort of bike is it??

  4. Speak only to Dan. There is a young guy in there that is a smart [censored] and thinks he knows
everything. When something goes wrong his immediate reaction is that its your fault somehow until
you can convince him its not due to reason.

Dan is the owner I believe and is much more obliging. He will immediately do anything for you and
will look after you after sale. He would do well to get rid of that other guy as it is hurting
business. I personally would not buy a bike there just because of this other unfriendly smart [censored]
but I have had mates buy bikes from there with no problems.

    Cheers Pete

I have dealt with these guys before but not purchased from them and can attest to the fact that they
are very switched on and will ensure that you are getting the most up to date product at an
extremely competitive price. Make the trip get the bike set up properly for you and met the guys (
    Dan especially )

Its hard to find good help in the bike industry, not many people go to Uni to do retial bike sales!

  7. Hi,

I bought one of the few remaining Specialised Hardrocks from Pushy Galore last week at that price
$555. They do (maybe still ?) have a deal for $692 which includes a helmet, pump, bike bag. Talk to
Dan (owner) or Adam both keen bikers,as for the bike I am rapt.I had a Specialised Hardrock 93 model
so I guess I am brand biased. Going back in a couple of weeks to have the first free service. cheers

Once again... Only Dan. The other guy is a [censored] and I have dealt with him more than once. The
rest are just kids on the weekend. Competition in this business is too strong to have to deal with
    arrogant [censored].

    That was for Pete's sake.
