commentators thought it was pretty amusing.I meant Bob Rogers -- isn't he the pathetic dicklick who's posting all the
the TdF results just to spoil it for people? I just assumed Bomba was
right. (If it ain't you, Rotgut, well...you still suck, but sorry.)Bill "Bob Roll is pretty cool in my book" S.

Oh, yeah I definitely agree about both Bobs.
Sometimes Roll is a little over the top IMO. I find myself thinking "Oh man,
did he really say something THAT cheesy?" but for the most part I like what
he adds. Some good ol' silliness. Nice to see a lifelong roadie not taking
things too seriously. He should grow the chops back though.Matt

Thanks. I can't really recognize him as Bob, but I'll take your word
for it.--

Thanks. I can't really recognize him as Bob, but I'll take your word
for it.It's him. First time I saw him on OLN a couple of years ago he was just
doing these little "Tips n' Tricks" bits during breaks. Stuff about bike
fit, spinning, hydration and such. He's got those enormous chops, but was
clean shaven around his mouth. Just a funny, non-conformist kind of look,
especially for a couple of years ago when retro/unusual facial hair wasn't
as cool.I thought the style suited him well.

And Tyler flew the coup. And why won't Lance go to the
Olymplics?I MTB 2004

I watched it all while cleaning a cassette, overhauling
a hub, cleaning a freehub body,replacing a tube,greasing,and putting it
all back to the way it came. Its real nice when something goes wrong you
just trade out a wheel or even trade out the bike. Team support cars
never had them at any MTB race I was riding in.I MTB 2004

Good question. A couple of answers depending on your view of the world:
1. The course doesn't suit him and he knows he won't win.
2. He is following the path blazed by the NBA stars.
3. He will leave it all at the tour.
4. Does not want to be subjected to the Olympic drug controls.Pick whatever one you like and you'll be as right as the next guy. FWIW, 1
& 3 seem most likely to me. I guess that makes me odd. -

this one.
