First, remove the frame and all components from the rear wheel.
Remove the tire and tube from the drive side of the wheel, keeping the flat
side of the tire at the top.Re-assemble the tire and a new tube, being careful to keep the flat side of
the tire at the top.When you inflate the new tube you will see that the flat side of the tire
will disappear.Re-assemble the frame and components. Test ride.

That happened to me once. It was really annoying - I could feel every
little bump I went over and the back tyre felt kind of 'slippery' when I
went around corners. It became real bad when I tried to ride up onto
the kurb once. I could actually feel the metal of the rear wheel hit
the cement of the pavement.In the end I showed it to a Mountian Biking buddy of mine who suggested
I take it in to my local MTB shop.They were able to fix it within a day and I picked it up the next morining.
They then tried to sell me an expensive bike pump, but I figure if it
only happens once every couple of years I'll just take it into the shop. -

Everyone knows you need to buy some kind of oven-curing plastic modelling
clay (like Filo brand), fill in the flat spot, and place the wheel in the

morining.I told you so. This is the only way to do it.
If you do happen to buy the expensive pump, make sure you never use it
because it is only there to make you look flashy when teaming up with your
friends. If you have any that is?--
