i bought a frame and moved parts from one bike to the new frame
the group is 9 spd Ultegra triple.
the tubes are different size, so the clamp-on front der. didn't fit.
i have a 8 spd campy triple front der. that is the right size.
i put that on but it doesn't seem just right. i get four shifts with the
ultegra shifter , two shifts in the middle ring. i get some kind of racket
but not sure what from.
i have adjusted the limit screws to where it shifts okay. i just get some
kind of irritating noise.
could this be a problem being 8spd der. and 9 spd triple shifter?
or would it be campy compatibility with the shimano ultegra.
does anyone have a clamp on shimano 9 spd triple der. for 1 3/8 tube?
