  1. Anbody have an opinion about the GoBike?

    or http://www.legroupego.com/

I'm considering of getting this folding bicycle rather than a
    Brompton.

There was review of it in VeloVision #11 (Sept. 2003).

This is the only review of the GoBike I am aware of. Velo Vision is a
magazine I cannot get here in Canada. Ironically, GoBike is produced
in Canada. If someone could summarize the article, it would be greatly
    appreciated.

    How much does it cost?

    Cheers,

You can't get in anywhere except through the post. You should be able
to order the issue through the VV website. There was actually a pic of
a girl riding one inside the front cover of the latest issue, as it
happens. It's a great mag, and well worth a subscription IMHO.

Can't recall exactly what was said about it, but overall seemed quite
impressive IIRC. But if your priority a very compact and fast fold the
Brompton still appears to be king of the hill.

Here is a summary of the pre-production review in VV 10: One sided
leading link front sus. Birdy-like folding action folds to
30"x26"x15" bigger than birdy but has 20" wheels. Size compares well
with 20" dahons. Maker quotes 15 second fold time, derailleur, 3x9
dual drive, or hub transmission options. Luggage rack and mudguards
not on the pre-production model. See www.gobikeonline.com

ISTR the followup review (which I don't have to hand) was reasonably
    favourable

VV10 also had a folding bike buyers' guide
