This has been well discussed; a cyclist has every right to be on the
public highway. Just as cars have no obligation to use a motorway

Yup - I've followed it up. There was another "gem" after it which was so
laughable I decided to leave it - the author did more for the cycling cause
by appearing such an anti-cycling twit than any rational comments from me
could ever do!

I'm familiar with that road. Alongside it is an excellent motorway (the
M3) built exclusively for motor vehicles.

And STILL the carnage on wheels mob insist on driving on that road
trying to overtake where there isn't room and harassing other road
users. But they shouldn't be there anyway.....

Its driving without due consideration for road users and ought to be an
offence. Ban them to their exclusive motorway ghettos I say.
