I saw le TdF on analogue satellite last year. 'German' eurosport with live
English commentary.
Before I try and find the old dish /box, is this still an option for this
year?

Eurosport International is still broadcasting most of their live sport on
analogue Astra with English commentary. You might have to return your
audio channel. I'm expecting David Duffield to be waffling on about
cheese and wine and cats as usual when le Tour is on (though I'm not 100%
sure). However, the evening highlight programmes might be in German only.

Correction: RETUNE your audio channel ....as they may have switched them
around since you last used your receiver.

AFAIK, Duffers is in the studio this year with Mike Smith on the road.

Thanks Pete, I'll go find the dish/etc.

Yup, according to an article in the Official TDF Guide, complete with yellow
waistcoat.

I dragged ours out last year for the TDF and forgot to shove it back into
the shed/garage/attic afterward so there's a job saved this year.
Mind you I've long applied that method to my garage workbench and my
daughter to her bedroom ;-)
