There is a German outfit that imports Indian bikes into Europe that
advertise on e-bay regularly. Can't find them on a quick Google.

Thanks to all for your advice. I have finally settled on an original Dutch
model.
The Pashleys are nearly £600 which is a bit steep and more than I paid for
my car.

If you haven't already bought and can travel to Edinburgh, the Bike=20
Station has a number of traditional Dutch roadsters. I believe the funky=20
one on show today with rod-operated drum brakes (Linked so each lever=20
operates both) has already been spoken for, but there is a collection of=20
similar vehicles in various states of repair. Probably cost for one, ~
=A315.
