  1. I hope no one minds me posting this - although we are a business, this
    is Rob's personal machine.

It's a Greenspeed Low Racer with a red frame, yellow seat, 18 gears, hub
brakes, Ultegra drivetrain and a nice Egg ring on the front, about 3-4
years old and in generally good condition. It's primarily a race machine
    - *can* be used on road, but could do with a wider gear range if that
was to be its primary use.

Please drop me an email if interested - I'll try to hunt out a picture
to put on the website soon.

Do I take it he's switched allegiance to the "Stupidly Low Racer"?

<g> Yep. He's been busy rebuilding the fairing this weekend after the
nose got a bit bent at Cycle Vision :-) He's also moved the gear shift
to the non-steering handgrip, and can sometimes even remember that he
    has.....

Is it just me, or do the vast majority of 'bents I see on various web sites
seem to be of this colour scheme? Personally, I couldn't care what colour
    it is, I want one!

If you visit websites about Greenspeeds, quite possibly. Pretty much
everyone else seems to do seats in black, and frame colour varies as
much as in any other genre. It seems this year's New Black is a
    metallic green...

I must admit I do tend to look at those quite a lot and that may be skewing
    my perception

But there's also these others -

    http://www.logotrikes.com/

One is Australian (like Greenspeed) and one is New Zealand. Maybe it's an
antipodean thing? Logo Trikes are only a few kilometres away from me. I've
never been to see them though as the temptation might be just a bit strong
(though not as strong as the right hook I'd get from my wife for spending a
    few thousand dollars).

I think it's quite a popular colour scheme for Greenspeeds but 'bents
generally come in pretty much any colour you could want - there were
some lovely metallic purple ones at Cycle Vision - and then there's the
screaming metallic pink tandem trike that ICE sometimes take to shows -
    talk about retina burn :-)
