Just a small point. When mounted to the handlebars, am I correct in thinking that the lever should be pointing down, not pointing off towards one side. Received my 105 levers today from xpedia (£100) and they just wouldnt libe up. They were also scratched along one lever, so they have been sent back.
Just wondering about the alignment of the arm. My RX-100 levers don't do this pointy off to one side skewy thing.

I think it's normal. My 105's point off to the side and my hunch is it's a design feature to make shifting (inward pressure on the levers) easier.
