"A rare 320-year-old stolen Stradivarius cello had a narrow escape - from
being converted into a CD holder."
The story goes on:
"The cello was stolen from the porch of the Philharmonic's principal
cellist, Peter Stumpf, by a thief on a bicycle, police said."
This is impressive, stealing a cello using a bike (of course it could have
been a Burrows Frieght-8.)
But:
"Three weeks later, Ms Stevens found it - about a mile from Mr Stumpf's
home - as she was on her way to visit a patient."
Maybe not so impressive, though I think I'd struggle to get a cello a mile
on a bike.
Musicycle postscript: The Orb's new album is called Bicycles and
Tricycles. It seems to have no significant cycling comment though one
track is called The Land of Green Ginger, Simon M may have cycled there.
