I had a BOB trailer for a number of years and grew more to dislike it for road
touring behind our Ryan Duplex tandem. For one, it seems like we were always
running out of room to pack the things we needed (basic camping gear). Even
with compression sacks, a tent and two sleeping bags would take up the majority
of the room in the trailer.

The other thing I did not like was the force put on the chainstays by the
trailer. Whichever way the bike tilted, the trailer did too.

Earlier this year, we sold the BOB and bought a Burely Nomad, which I am VERY
happy with. Much more room to store things, and the independent, swivel mount
is fantastic.
