I tried out my new blow torch light last night from Nite Rider. I
couldn't believe how bright the light. Highway signs seemed to "jump
out" at me from the darkness. The stop sign seemed like it was
floating there in the darkness. The yield sign seemed to come right
out and touch my nose.
The mount adjusts much more easily than the previous ones I have had
with the Nite Rider lights. I have used the Digital Pro-12 and
Digital Pro-6 in the past, with Nicad and NMH batteries. This mount
uses an easy to adjust thumb screw.
It comes with one extension cord. For hinged bars, and most bents,
you'll need more than one because the cord attached to the battery
isn't very long.
It also has a note that its not waterproof but is designed to be water
resistant. Although its not my intent to ride under water, I would
like to know that it isn't ready to die when a mean thunderstorm gets
going.
I hate riding in hail and tornadoes. I know, I know, then why do you
do it? Sometimes it can't be helped.
