Good Day All,

I came across these shirts when I noticed our garbage men wearing a new type
of high-visibility shirts. I did a Google search on safety shirts and found
them.

I just got two lime and two orange shirts as of 5/03/2004.

They are very visible.

They cost $13.24 each including shipping -- though without the reflecting
tape or pockets.

I never can find a decent bike shirt in XXL (US). These shirts come in my
size and even a size larger.

They are made of a new type of polyester and claim to wick moisture. I have
had good luck with regular polyester in the winter getting rid of moisture.
I will see how my new shirts wick this summer.

I'll have to test their durability (washing and sun fade) before I give my
seal of approval.

Though, at $13.24 each, it is hard to go wrong.

One thing I do find funny about this one, though: the idea of a "seal
of approval" from someone who doesn't even give their real name - now
that's an endorsement we can all trust!

you're a bit sensitive. Who are you?

Continuing in the vein that "everything must be green" to match my
dark green GS GTO, I was very happy to be able to get lime green! I
got the full zoot "Ansi" taped shirts. My report is forthcoming after
I wear 'em a bit.

I am not a professional writer.

I "was" a happy V-Rex rider who has who read your articles and posts,
complimented you on your Horrible Hundred pics and shared mine, and
consulted with you about a trike.

The line you attacked is the line where I DID NOT endorse the product!

It appears to say "Designed by LeQuan". "LeQuan" is presumably Ms.
LeQuan Brummer of Lightning Cycle Dynamic who if I recall correctly was
responsible for the design of the Thunderbolt. The top picture on this
webpage [1] appears to confirm my hypothesis.

something - it's just that a seal of approval really is funny - or at
least I thought it was - coming from someone who we don't know, because
they're giving a name that is obviously not their own.
And of course, you do not have to give your name - there's no crime
in that, no deceit, nothing. I did read your words closely - that's why
I made the comment, regarding a possible endorsement or seal of
approval. But am I the only one who finds the possiblity of an
endorsement by someone with a fake name as something comical?

Although I'd like to ride TOSRV it comes during THE most important
holiday according to my wife, the mother of my children! Funny, she
never objected to me riding GOBA during Father's Day...

I'm planning a clockwise navigation around Lake Erie this August. The
biggest hurdle, crossing the Detroit River, seemed insurmountable
because there is no pedestrian crossing via bridge or tunnel.
Amazingly, the Canadian side has arranged for a maintainence truck to
ferry me across the Ambassador Bridge!
BTW, apparently there's no problem crossing the Peace Bridge in
Buffalo.

You should make your trip a little longer, and head over to the
Finger Lakes area and take in the BROL rally in August. It's only a few
extra miles or so...
