Small frames are often designed with a bent top-tube, while larger sizes of
the same model aren't. Has to do with loads, geometry and other technical
stuff (even water bottle mounts, probably).

I had a rant all typed out about how real women's bikes don't have
lowered top tubes, but apparently I'm wrong in this case. Or maybe it's
not a real bike. Hell, I don't know.

Here's a question: does it fit? If it doesn't, you have bigger problems
than riding a girl bike. If it does, who cares? All that "women's"
means is that the distance between the seatpost and the handlebars is
shorter to accomodate a shorter torso. Maybe a couple of other subtle
changes. There are some people who say it's not a women's issue at all;
they say the 26" tires make the top tube proportionally longer on a
small frame than on a medium or large, so small frames benefit from some
redesign.

Whatever the case, get it out of your head that women's bikes come in in
pastel colors. If you rely on the color scheme to tell you if it's a
women's or standard model, you're in trouble.

Jekyll size small has a curved top tube like the Femine model. There are
also no water bottle mounts. The extra standover is very nice in my
opinion.

Thanks for the answers. HEH HEH. I just didn't want to feel like a bike
salesman got one over me. I just wanted an excuse as to why I keep eating
dirt when I jump with my bike ;D Plus bright pink seems like a woman's color
don't you think? Or is the color called Tiger Lilly for males? Thanks again
