giant ac 2 size questions

Seatpost is 27.2, shimmed to 30.9

I don't run a front mech... I run an MRP system 1, so no shifting up front.

Yeah, I thought it was a 30.9, but I got a 30.9 post and it wont fit. Ill
try a 30.8.

Have you tried fitting a new headset? I got a Campag integrated, and it
all fits in fine, but it just wont tighten up properly. Might just send it
to the shop to be fettled with.

Have you tried fitting a new headset? I got a Campag integrated, and
it all fits in fine, but it just wont tighten up properly. Might just
send it to the shop to be fettled with.

The headset is a standard for most Giant internal headsets... it cost $20 at
the LBS for the cups, the bearings, the compression rings, and the top cap.

No it's not a 30.9. Giant's seat post diameter on the AC's and VTs is
30.8. Go with a Thomson Elite 30.8. Excellent post.

I apologize - I was thinking off the top of my head... it's a 30.8.
