When you get there, just say and I'll try to hook you up with some people
who can take you on some awesome riding. Make sure to get some riding in the
Don Valley if you're going to be in the downtown region.

In the case of Toronto, it would be a hockey mom, not much soccer going on

    <snip>

I haven't lived in Toronto for 10 years so may be out of date, but here are
some ideas (assuming you want singletrack). Ask your contacts when you are
there, perhaps they can direct you better:
Don Valley from Overlea Blvd (Leaside) past brickyards to Balfour Park
Rouge Valley Pickering (just east of city)
Hardwood Hills (Barrie - north of city)
    Kelso/Hilton Falls (west of city)
Forks of the Credit Park (NW of city)

plus lots of singletrack I haven't got a clue about, maybe others can help.
plus many miles of paved multi-use stuff. Actually the Don Valley paved
trail from Sunnybrook Hospital down to Skydome and then out Lakeshore Blvd
towards Humber Bay past the Exhibition grounds is a scenic ride.

    Have fun

Well, [censored], anybody want a Turner 5 Spot for cheap? I wonder when the X5
    will be readily available.

I believe that they are, I know Larry at Mountain High Cyclery has built
and shipped several, none to me.

When end of May? I'd love to come up and buy you a beer, but the
scheduling may be tricky. Look for an email.
