  1. I've got a Cannondale v3000DH Active frame round which I've built a
downhill bike [my first one]. Problem is the rear caliper mount: the
swingarm's got an L shaped bolt-on bracket onto which the caliper
mounts. The bracket's got 48mm centres for the caliper so it won't
take an IS mount caliper. I've tried 2 Cannondale dealers to get the
right brakcet [they must exist??] but no joy.
Has anyone else succeeded on this frame or do I need to get a bracket
    machined up?

The only pre-IS standard I'm aware of is the old 22mm Direct Mount
system. But then again, C-dale has a bad habit of doing their own thing,
    so you never know.

Maybe try contacting your brake manufacturer to see if they can help you.
