The date for the Grizzly Peak Century is Sunday, May 4th. There are routes of 69 (5500 ft of
climbing) and 107 (8300 ft) scenic and challenging miles through the East Bay hills near San
Francisco, California. The start and finish point for the ride is Miramonte High School on the
Orinda-Moraga city line, just off Moraga Way.
The Grizzly Peak Century, first held in 1974, is well known for it's GREAT food:
BBQ chicken and BBQ vegetables for vegetarians/vegans salads home made cookies and quickbreads
plenty of fresh fruit ACME breads Noah's bagels and much more....
Sorry, no mystery lunchmeats and balloon white bread, but we will have peanut butter and jelly on
hand for people unaccustomed to gourmet cycling eats.
Registrations are now being accepted. The registration fee is $25 if postmarked by April 21 and $35
thereafter.
