bike thermometer?

My computer has a thermometer built into it, which seems to
be fairly accurate (within a couple of degrees of the one on
my house). No hygrometer, though, so I only get about half
the picture.

My Vetta computer has a thermometer, but since it is sitting
in the sun, it can register 20 degrees to hot. I once got it
up to 125F when the weather man was saying 100F.

Automotive thermometer at Wal Mart is only a few bucks, and
adhesive-backed. Most models include a clock.

i have the polar s720i and it gives me the temp in my report but not while i'm on the bike.

You can display the real time temperature on your Polar
720i. If you set the main display to show current altitude,
the number in the lower right corner will be the
temperature. AFAIK, this is the only way to display
temperature while riding.

Some buildings around town have lit-up signs that
alternately give the time and temperature. It's good enough
for me. That, and the traffic + weather segments on the
local all-news radio station (which are more timely and
accurate than the local TV weather channel.)

My Specialized Pro Wireless has temp built in to it. It's
pretty accurate. It's a great computer.

(The best part is knowing the % grade on a climb in
realtime, though.)

A Specialized SpeedZone Pro, though I believe some of their
lower-priced models also have one.
