    I remember reading tha Cunego would not be participating in
    this year's Tour day France, but alas I can not recall as
    to why this decision was made. Would somebody please
    refresh my memory??

    Maybe my english is somewhat lacking here. During the Giro
    this was discussed a lot on the Eurosport coverage by the
    swedish commentators. What they where saying was that if he
    was thrown into too many hard stage races too soon he would
    risk cracking before he had *matured* enough to be
    "exploited" properly. From what I understood this is how
    they had interpreted what the Saeco team management had
    hinted at.

    Maybe USPS just plain bought him out so Lance could work on
    his sixth without being embarrased?
