I am looking at a bike that comes with a threadless
headset. Can I remove the threadless headset and install a
threaded set up?

threaded steerer.Integrated headset or some weird size could be a problem.

yes, of course. but it's probably not a good idea.
threadless is a perfectly adequate system and threaded parts
are going to be less available as time goes by. i'd stick
