  1. ok, i want to hop higher. How is this achieved? I can
side hop up onto about 1.5 foot high things maximum at
the moment. And as for moving hops they have a lot to
be desired, so are there any tips for moving hops as
    well? thanks

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a
capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety
labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

  3. I am having the SAME problem. I can't get much height (even
when I switch tires - so let's not address that here).

What baffles me is how Dan Heaton "effortlessly" hops up
    onto 7 pallets. Bar 7, I can't get 3 (I'd probably struggle
    with 2 - I haven't tried).

WHAT can I do to get a higher hop? What is the
"breakthrough"or trick to get past whimpy 6" hops?

(I am only talking seat in here, I feel the seat out trick)

  4. i guess you mean rolling hops. i am no expert in the matter
but i am working on rolling hops also. find a wall that
seems a little higher than you feel comfortable with. line
up the pedals and go for it. if you miss, you can bail
pretty easily, i have only had one bad fall as the result of
a bail gone awry. just keep doing this and increase the
height until you feel you cant go any higher. then, work on
altering the techniqur to give extra height. work on
snapping the tire and shifting your weight so that you can
bring the wheel higher and higher in front of you.

  5. when practicing rolling hops i found that my height improved
if i practiced jumping as far as i could, on flat ground.
and in general practicing helped too.

  6. For my normal hop I use left foot back, and at first did
that for rolling hops. Tried to line it up so I'd have left
foot back when I needed to hop. This wasn't working. But I
found out I need my left foot forward because I was moving
and it would already be on its way down. So try leading (not
the whole way, just at the end when your gonna hop) with
your opposite foot. Thats what I discovered, you probably
    discovered a while ago.

    My two cents.
