Drawstring

Try a reaching in with a tweezer. Takes a little practice, but works.

If it comes all the way out, and you know a grandma type who sews (or
any type of sewing person, I suppose) there is a sewing notion called a
"tube turner" which will make it almost easy to put the drawstring back.
It looks like a very long needle with a little catch on the end. I
have often wished that I still had my mother's.

Or you could try to poke and pry it out with a pin. If it is
in too far, pull the whole drawstring out; then hook a
safety pin through one end and use that end to thread the
drawstring through again. Tedious and troublesome but works.
