Running is the best exercise until I damaged my knee in
Yoga!! Is there anything that can be done? How long should I
wait before I run again or should I take up walking? I will
not go to the doctor because he will tell me to stop
running. (past experience)

Go to a "running doctor" which can specialize in your
problem. Other doctors just don't understand runners. Unless
you need a knee replacement (not knowing your age), I can't
believe anybody, much less a doctor, would advise to give up
running altogether.Good luck.

Just because a doctor might tell you to stop running is no
reason not to go to one. Your doctor is going to refer you
to an orthopedist anyway. Or should.[email hidden] (HHSTaylor) wrote in message

Knee damage from yoga? That's like yawning and breaking your
skull. Face it, some folks are just cut out to read about
it, not do it. -

folk (over 30). You can over-do or rush any form of
exercise. People should take months to loosen up for some of
the postures.
