r1000 vs. r2000

I have an R2000. The main difference between the two are the wheels and the components...this is assuming that both bikes have the original factory setups. The 1000 will have shimano 105 components and a lower grade mavic wheel. The 2000 will have ultegra components and top of the line mavic SSC SL wheels. Those wheels alone go for around $800 a set. I do not buy into the whole bladed spoke theory, but I can tell you now that these wheels are extremely sturdy and relatively light weight. I have never had a problem with them and I have hit some mighty potholes. They look sweet as well, and they do seem to be a bit faster. If your 2000 has these wheels, and the 100o doesn't, the extra $300 will be well worth it. If the only difference between the 2 is the components, go with the 1000. You really will not be able to tell the difference between 105s and ultegras. By the way, both frames are exactly the same.

What about the OCR 1 vs. the OCR Elite? Is it worth the extra $500?
