Hi guys, I've dropped a major bollock. Just bought a Race Face BB for 50 quid off ebay - 113mm. The crankset I want is the Race Face Evolve xc cranks. Look cool with the forged name in! The spiel says you should run them on a 108mm BB for the correct chain line.......dough, i bought a 113!!!!
Is anybody else running this crankset on a 113mm BB? If so does it work?

Doesn't it need to line up with your rear cassette (and not foul your frame)? As such, depending on your rear axle width, you might be OK. e.g. building a bike with a 150mm rear hub meant that the chainline guide was well out, especially as I had a chain guide mounted on there as well.
of course, "lining up with your rear cassette" covers a multitude of problems I suppose...
