  1. Anyone got any training tips to go faster at the end of a long race eg 60-90miles. I seem to have plenty of energy but not enough speed or power.

    Question is slightly vague, so not 100% what exactly you mean.

    Train at a faster cadence (85-100), aim to select an easier gear. At first it might seem unnatural if you are used to slower pedaling and a harder gear. Anyway faster pedaling will train slow-twitch muscle fibres which dont tire as quickly as fast-twitch and recover quicker.

    Then you can save fast twitch-fibres for sprint finishes.😄
